Overview of the Role:

Pelago is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Marketing Operations to spearhead the development and execution of strategic operational initiatives, fostering collaboration and streamlining processes across the marketing organization (B2B commercial marketing and B2B2C growth marketing). The Senior Director of Marketing Operations will report to the CMO and will be a technical leaning leader that owns our full marketing tech stack and oversees marketing analytics and digital operations to ensure seamless data collection and analysis which will inform marketing strategies. This role will collaborate with the Engineering team, setting the roadmap and priorities for technical resources to ensure seamless data flow and technical alignment with marketing goals, as well as partner with revenue operations to ensure strategies are driving business growth.In this role, you will...

Data Management:

Oversee the management and accuracy of marketing data, in partnership with the central data team, ensuring it is collected, analyzed, and utilized to drive decision-makingOversee the development of reporting dashboards in Looker, bringing in multiple external reporting sourcesOptimize and maintain marketing technology stack to support data-driven marketing effortsBudget Management:

Manage and optimizing the marketing budget to maximize ROIProvide Regular reporting on budget utilization and performance metricsManage member enrollment forecasting operationsTechnical Expertise:

Demonstrate proficiency in HTML and data manipulation techniquesShowcase experience in building lead scoring modelsDemonstrate an understanding of landing page CMS and email platformsEnable marketing campaigns through a variety of technologiesShowcase experience with data visualization tools and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsPossess a deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape and stay updated on industry trendsPossess a curiosity for solving complex problems with technology and processFamiliarity with programming languages a plus (e.g., Python, SQL)Effective Communication and Stakeholder Buy-In:

The provided range reflects our US target salary range for this full-time position, which is part of our broader total compensation package, including stock options, comprehensive benefits, and incentive pay applicable to eligible roles. Individual pay within the range will vary based on a variety of factors like role-related experience and education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business factors. At Pelago, we are committed to an equitable and fair pay philosophy and review total compensation for our employees at least twice a year.

Pay Range

$175,000-$225,000 USD
