About the Role

Hinge is seeking a

Senior Public Relations Manager

to drive our key external and internal communications programs. In this role, you will support Hinge's global communications efforts, promoting marketing initiatives, crafting thoughtful and impactful strategies for product feature launches, and leading other company announcements to elevate the brand. As Hinge continues to scale, you will also collaborate closely with the People team to develop and refine internal communication processes, ensuring all employees are well-informed and engaged with company updates.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

Create and execute external communications strategies for product launches, brand campaigns, and company news.Internal Communications:

Drive internal communications initiatives and messaging to keep employees informed and engaged.Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and agency partners.Communications & Messaging:

Write engaging materials for internal and external communications, including key messaging and blog posts.Media Relations:

Prepare and coach spokespeople, pitch stories to tech, business, and consumer outlets, cultivate relationships with key reporters, and handle inbound media requests.Strategic Measurement & Analysis:

Evaluate the success of communications initiatives to continuously improve strategies.

What We're Looking For

Proven Experience:

5-8 years in corporate communications or public relations, with a blend of in-house experience at a global tech company and agency experience.Versatile Communicator:

Proven agility in managing both external announcements and internal communications, from strategy development to execution.Entrepreneurial Spirit:

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and create new processes with support from the Comms team and Operations partners.Collaborator:

Experience working cross-functionally as a communications advisor, interacting comfortably with senior leaders and executives.Skilled Writer:

Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills.Media Relations Expert:

Strong track record of securing coverage and building journalist relationships across news, business, tech, and consumer sectors; experience with social-first coverage is a plus.Creative Thinker:

Demonstrated ability to develop proactive and creative PR campaigns.

$ 128000- $154000 a year

Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
