The GATE Petroleum Convenience Store Division is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. The position will report to the Marketing Director. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development, coordination and execution of various marketing activities and campaigns. He/she will support social media strategy and execution, special events, data collection/analysis and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and problem solving capabilities. This person will be able to communicate effectively with customers, internal/external stakeholders, and other teams and levels throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:Assist with the planning, development and implementation of store promotional assets.Assist with development and execution of offer campaigns for My GATE Rewards loyalty program.Support with troubleshooting, reporting and analysis for My GATE Rewards loyalty program.Build relationships with vendors to understand their products and goals, in order to develop marketing and product promotion strategy.Collaborate with various internal departments to develop and implement marketing strategies and/or communication plans.Support strategy, messaging, tactics, visuals and brand voice across social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.Work with signage and graphic design vendors on monthly and specialty store signage needs.Manage and support the GATE brand on company websites.Manage writing projects including, but not limited to, online and mobile copywriting content, internal/external communications collateral (fliers, signage, employee communication, news releases/media advisories, etc.).Support annual promotional campaign planning and vendor meetings.Support development of assets and programming for key sponsorships.Entry level graphics development and editing.Event planning and execution, with a focus on customer engagement events at convenience stores.Administrative duties, such as department billing.Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.Requirements, Skills, Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, digital marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).Two to three years' relevant experience.Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of self-direction, tact and diplomacy.Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.Critical thinker with sense of urgency and "get things done" mentality.Attention to detail, proactive problem solving.High energy level, comfortable working within a dynamic, goal-oriented team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creativity and innovation.Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys working as a team member and places a heavy emphasis on customer service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, web research and social media platforms.Preferred but not required:

Working knowledge of graphic design and photo editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator) and Canva.
