Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Communications to lead communications efforts in the USA. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances a Global Pharmaceutical Company which the role will support to reputation, build brand awareness, and support corporate objectives.

You will play a key role in managing internal and external communications, media relations, and crisis communications.

The pharmaceutical organisation are a leader in developing treatments for rare and ultra-rare diseases. They focus on areas where there are often few or no other treatment options available.

The Director of Corporate Communications will play a key role in the Patient Advocacy programme to support the comprehensive patient support projects, providing resources and guidance to patients.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement a strategic communications plan for the US market, aligned with the company's overall business goals.Oversee all aspects of media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with key journalists, influencers, and industry analysts.Manage internal communications with employees across the US organization, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.Develop and execute communication campaigns for product launches, clinical trial announcements, and other corporate milestones.Lead crisis communications efforts, developing and implementing response plans to mitigate negative publicity.Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals.Develop and manage the company's corporate website and social media presence.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to enhance the company's communications strategy.Track and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Ideally 7-15 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the

pharmaceutical industry or agency.Proven track record

of developing and implementing successful

communications strategies .Strong media relations experience, with a proven ability to secure positive media coverage.Experience working with

congressExcellent writing and editing skills.Strong public speaking and presentation skills.Experience in crisis communications.Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the US healthcare landscape.Excellent analytically and problem-solving skills.Benefits:
