POSITION SUMMARY:

As the US Marketing Coordinator within our Global Marketing Team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and precise marketing operations. Your main focus will be on organizing and executing US-based events, including boat shows and luxury events, while supporting the marketing team with the creation of materials and analysis of digital strategies.

We seek a well-rounded, extremely organized individual who thrives in all aspects of marketing communications and excels at multi-tasking. Your responsibilities will span event coordination, merchandising, social media, websites, newsletters, flyers, database mailings, analytics, reporting, branding projects, and client presentations.

Proficiency in written and spoken English, attention to detail, efficiency in handling multiple tasks, strong time management, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. You'll be a team player with a keen desire to learn and grow.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Events:

Ensure smooth, efficient execution of US events in alignment with the global marketing strategy to build brand awareness and generate leads.Set up and follow clear, efficient event processes to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.Organize invitations, visitor registrations, and follow-up tracking and analysis via CRM tools.Collaborate with the US Marketing Manager on event messaging, advertising, and logistics, including boat shows and private events.Establish event objectives, develop concepts, create timelines, plan details, book venues, and oversee operations.Manage vendor relationships, including hiring, firing, and day-to-day communication.Prepare marketing material packs, merchandise, and other on-site materials; manage RSVPs.Oversee on-site event management: setup, registration, staffing, and customer interactions to ensure a positive experience.Track and analyze event metrics and feedback for future strategy improvements.Stay updated on industry trends to identify new engagement opportunities.Attend various boat shows and events, including occasional nights and weekends.Merchandise Management and Ordering:

Manage all aspects of merchandise purchasing, ordering, and inventory.Propose new branded items for distribution at events.Maintain and manage stock lists for the US, ensuring timely reorders.Research and manage appropriate gifts for key clients.Oversee merchandise budget, vendor communication, and management.Digital and Content Marketing:

Collaborate with Digital and Yacht Marketing Strategists to collate digital promotional material for Fraser’s US fleet.Update the company website with new images, content, and landing pages.Manage website updates in the CMS, including event, builder, and destination pages.Oversee new hire announcements and their publication on the website.Marketing Reports:

Maintain regular reporting for all yachts in the US fleet.Provide insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies based on report findings.General Marketing Support Services:

Assist the marketing team with various projects, including marketing administration, event planning, digital and social media coordination, and ad hoc duties as needed.JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential Skills:

Excellent communication skills and adept at working both as a team and autonomouslyFluent English in both oral and written communicationsOther languages would be a bonus (French, Spanish)Previous experience organizing and managing eventsGood copyrighting skillsUnderstanding of core marketing and communication messaging and how to engage with potential clientsGood working knowledge of social media and digital: production/publishing/scheduling/analytics platforms as well as multi-media content creation platformsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with video editing skills a bonusGood working knowledge of digital and social media strategiesExcellent ability to work under pressure, extremely well organized, able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizeExcellent attention to detail and high standardsSelf-motivated and confident in your ability to deliverPhysical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to remain in a sedentary position for long periods of timeConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as printer and copy machineOccasionally moves, transports, positions and removes equipment weighing up to 15kg for boat show materials when neededAbility to travel for yacht visits and Yacht ShowsAbility to work afterhours and/or weekends during Yacht Shows and for occasional urgent requestsAbility to attend Fraser Yacht Shows and open house events when needed
