POSITION TITLE: Manager- Education Marketing

BRAND: Urban Decay

LOCATION: El Segundo, CA

POSITION PURPOSE

Th e Manager- Education Marketing will lead strategy, development and implementation of retailer product education content, product education tools and training programs for consistent brand and product training across the U.S. This includes driving key product education initiatives such as best-in-class retailer content, retailer product education train-the-trainers & product training guides. This position works cross-functionally with Marketing, Field Sales, Creative and Sales and serves as a critical partner to and advocate for Field Sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

O wns development and execution of internal and external product training and education materials, Cluster Trainings, Round Robins, Ulta Daily Micro Dose trainings, Sephora Double Dose, internal programs and initiatives, including training videos focused on product education layered with service and selling directives with input from Field Sales.

Script, narrate, and produce (or manage edits to) all new launch product education videos. This

Plan and execute all retailer product education train-the-trainers (specifically for Round Robins and Cluster Training) for sell-through team trainings, updating the sell-through education folder on Teams.

Owns retailer product education training content process mapping, collaboration with stakeholders, execution, and return analysis and retro review with Field Sales.

Create and manage product education content, videos, collateral, assets execution and timelines, enter creative tickets per launch.

Responsible and manages retailer gratis programming, product allocations by program, gratis strategy, product availability timelines, forecasting units of gratis per program and retailer, budget management, execution, and communication in the blueprint, as well as distribution tracking sent to field team.

Create, execute, and maintain Product Education dashboard communicating monthly highlights, key education insights, return on investment to key stakeholders.

Own retailer corporate relationships

Collaborate with Field Sales to co- lead Sephora Planning Calls

Aid in Market calls as needed as Product Education

Strategize and negotiate product education opportunities throughout the year to include DMTs and New & Notables

Provide support to DMI EDU regarding zone product education needs, product education asset copy editing, and product education video creation.

Create and execute Retailers/L’Oreal eComm product training content, plan & allocate gratis, and testers.

Provide support to DMI EDU in collaboration with Field Sales on as well as build out modules and content for OneRetail Learning App.

Works closely with Finance department to manage annual product education department budget to improve operating efficiency within product educational events. Ensures adherence to annual departmental P&L as set forth at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Participate in special projects under the direction of the Director Education & Events.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Bachelor’s degree preferred / 3-5 years related experience minimum

Beauty experience required, specifically cosmetics

Retail experience is highly desired

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work as a team member, ability to interface with multiple functions/personalities

Salary Range: 92k-125k base + bonus
