Do you want to support Amazon’s mission to build the world’s safest, most efficient, and sustainable delivery network by helping our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) retain safe, satisfied, and engaged teams of drivers? We are looking for a Communications Manager, DSP & DA that works to support 2,500+ DSPs who employ 175,000+ Delivery Associates (DAs) operating Prime-branded vehicles on road, delivering tens of millions of packages per week through our Last Mile delivery network. Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for building and supporting best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of engagement with these DSPs and DAs.

The ideal candidate must be a communicator with business acumen and writing ability. Exercising judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical.

You will insist on high standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. You will Earn Trust with multiple cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and business leaders. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes. You will have a passion for storytelling, as there are so many wonderful stories to be found in this innovative space. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who has a high Bias for Action and thrives in ambiguity.

This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and Internal Comms.

This role can be based in Nashville, TN or Seattle/Bellevue, WA.

Key job responsibilities

• Support a multi-channel content strategy, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, and video

• Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content

• Interview DSPs and DAs and build advocacy stories to promote the program as entrepreneurial opportunity of choice

• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications

A day in the life

We write a lot and "are right a lot!” We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs and DAs to build compelling spotlight and advocacy stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners, including the Communication Center, Email, and SMS. We communicate to DAs through the DA In-App News Feed, built within their Amazon Delivery App.

About the team

The DSP & DA Communications and Engagement team is made up of 15+ high performing leaders. Even though we are based in different cities across the U.S. and Canada, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. We approach each other with respect and humility and have fun every day by answering Questions of the Day (QOTD) in Slack to stay connected across multiple office locations, sharing memes, and hosting interactive team building events. DSPs & DAs count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can operate their business efficiently and focus on what matters most to them, i.e., building a safety-first culture, developing their team and delivering millions of smiles in their communities.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

High attention to detail, particularly when it comes to proofing copy and content

Polished written communication skills

Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
