The Opportunity

As a Marketing Partner, you will advance Abt’s storytelling and positioning for our strategic priorities across multiple U.S. government accounts through targeted campaigns and products. As a key member of Abt’s corporate Marketing & Communications (MarComm) department, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to promote our research, technical assistance and thought leadership. You will ideate and organize campaigns that deliver on our mission and sync with growth opportunities within several U.S. domestic agencies--serving sectors like health, agriculture, nutrition, child welfare, and workforce—as well as states, cities, tribes, private foundations, and community organizations.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute account-focused marketing plans that demonstrate Abt’s value and intersectional work across a spectrum of market areas.

Collaborate and build working relationships with portfolio and client account leads to execute marketing communications strategies.

Lead development, production, updating, and promotion of marketing materials and content, including social media, digital, public relations, brochures, capability sheets, web stories, email newsletters/e-blasts, white papers, blogs, multimedia products, videos, and podcasts.

Deliver content guidance and support for marketing collateral to ensure all materials adhere to Abt and client standards, including accessible, inclusive, and plain language.

Shape development of the overall corporate communications strategy and elevate key messaging that showcases Abt’s voice in strategic markets.

Maximize web, social, and other digital metrics to generate leads and identify additional marketing strategies and tactics.

Support Abt’s presence and brand at key global forums, webinars, conferences and events.

Triage information via business development pipeline meetings, guide communications strategy across the corporation, and align cross-company communications plans to BD opportunities.

What We Value

Bachelor’s Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or PhD

Track record in creating and executing effective marketing communications strategies and campaigns.

Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of U.S. government agencies

Familiarity with social science research and/or public policy as well as demand attraction and lead generation tactics is strongly preferred

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $80,000 to $125,000, and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
