Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is seeking a Radio Frequency Software Engineer with expertise in Radio Frequency systems across many different platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate software development roadmaps/strategies and cost estimates forRadio frequency-intensive systemsCapable of performing test and evaluation engineering ofRadio FrequencysystemsOversee and define requirements for software development activities associated withRadio Frequencysignal collection and analysisEvaluate emerging technologies and standards for use in Software Defined Radio systemsPerform countermeasures and vulnerability analysis forRadio Frequency systemsExperience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware/software intensive systemsExperience modeling and using modeling tools (using CAMEO)Support implementation and development ofdigital signal processing of Ultra-Wide Bandwidth software defined radio (SDR) systems utilizing open standards such as VITA 49.2 and SOSA, and define guidance for future development and standardizationExperience developing technical reports and presentations; must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree5-10 years experienceGPU/GPGPU programming familiarityAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.US Citizenship required
Desired Experience and Skills:
A field-programmable gate array development experience (Very High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language)Radio Frequency Systems of Chip (SoC) development experienceFamiliarity with VITA 49.2 or Modular Open Radio Frequency Architecture (MORA)Experience with design and/or testing of Radio Frequency devices and communication systemsExperience developing systems for military applications (e.g. avionics, GPS, Communications)Familiarity with communication protocols used in military Radio Frequency communication systemsExperience with developing countermeasures against Radio Frequency communications systems (jamming, spoofing, replay attacks, etc.)Familiarity working with test and measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and logic analyzersFamiliarity with security features ass ciated withRadio Frequency communication systemsExperience with airworthiness qualification of hardware and software avionics components
Onsite/Remote:
Minimum of 2 days a week on-site, with telework potential on other days
Travel: 10%
