General Job Description: The Marketing Coordinator will be located in San Antonio and will report to the Hospital Director for MissionVet Specialty & Emergency. The primary job for the Marketing Coordinator is to build positive awareness of the hospital with the goal of increasing referrals and caseload. The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Manager, Referral Relationship Manager, and hospital-wide team for tactical marketing execution and assistance of marketing strategies and organizational efforts to drive practice growth.

Specific job responsibilities include:

Becomes an expert on MissionVet services and capabilities to be a credible source of information for referring veterinarians and the pet owner community.

Responds to online inquiries

Works with various vendors to update reorder marketing materials as needed (client and rDVM)

Manages the day-to-day execution of social media platforms and strategies including content acquisition and incentives

Coordinates industry-focused events such as continuing education conferences, pet owner-geared community events, as well as hospital presence at trade shows. Works with local organizations to execute community events.

Leads the events with little to no oversight, including soliciting and leading staff volunteers, ordering needed collateral, etc.

Supports the coordination of industry-related PR and media outreach for important hospital events and news.

Supports the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day management of all additional marketing programs including but not limited to: website maintenance, SEO, CRM management, direct mail, and email platforms.

Helps support administrative functions of the marketing service. This includes some data entry, reconciling marketing invoices, communicating with corporate HQ, etc. (credit card backup)

Reports to the Hospital Director on metrics to track success of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

Emulates the MissionVet brand in day-to-day activities by exemplifying the following traits: clear and accurate internal and external communication, compassion for pets and clients, desire to provide superior customer experience, positive attitude, self-starter, flexibility, ability to wear multiple hats, roll up sleeves when needed, and work well with a team

2-3 years of experience in marketing, PR or sales

Clear understanding of the importance of integrated marketing techniques and marketing’s collaborative impact/involvement across a business organization

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tactics while staying organized

Passion for learning more about the marketing field and working with people to build lasting relationships

Experience in the following tools is a plus: marketing automation tools, social media dashboards, email marketing tools, and Canva or other design tools
