Careers that Change Lives
The Medtronic Diabetes business is one of the most exciting, dynamic, and challenging spaces in medical devices. More than 463 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes, and this is expected to reach close to 600 million in 10 years. The diabetes device industry is unique in that technologies available to monitor and manage diabetes are starting to converge with consumer electronics technology. As such, the experience is evolving; people living with diabetes have a stronger voice in therapy choice, care is transitioning away from specialists, and the role of artificial intelligence is elevating care.
As a Principal User Experience Designer in the Customer Centered Design team, you are passionate about human-centered design and have a deep understanding of the process and craft, but also have a nimble, creative and pragmatic approach. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team (User Research, UI and Industrial Design) and collaborate on new product features and user experience enhancements for patients, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
The role reports into the Senior Manager of User Experience.
There are options to work remote (US-based). Preference will be given to candidates open to working in our Southern California office.
