The Director - Brand Marketing is a key driver of brand strategy, brand management, and measurement. This individual will ensure brand integrity, positioning, execution, and effectiveness across multiple channels, promotional periods, and functions.

Major Activities

Act as a key POC for external agency partnersEnhance brand identity and value through a keen understanding of the business, including consumer trends/behaviors, the competitive landscape, product roadmaps, and relevant technological or program requirementsLeverage meaningful consumer insights from primary and secondary research into brand strategies that engage existing customers, as well as attract new customers to the brand and shopping experiencesArchitect and socialize brand strategy and marketing briefs with key stakeholdersEnsure consistent brand story-telling and brand standards at all marketing touchpointsPartner closely with various business, retail operations, merchandising, media, creative, and channel teams to ensure brand & promotional event performance.Act as a brand/customer advocate to drive ongoing innovations for brand evolution and successCreate measurement framework, analyze key drivers of brand performance and ongoing optimizationsMonitor and share insights such as competitive analyses, customer insights, and campaign recaps and leverage data to pivot as neededOwn and manage the accuracy of the marketing budget through forecasting, accruals, and reconciliationsOther duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degreeAdvertising, Marketing or Business Related DegreeMinimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

MS Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, & ExcelMinimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

10+ years of progressively responsible experience in growing brands via a consultancy, brand management company, agency, or retailerOther

Strategic planning experienceAbility to analyze data and make insight-based decisionsAptitude for effectively managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong collaboration skills with excellent written & oral communication skills, with the ability to adjust content & style for a diverse groupEffective team leadership and development skillsAbility to work under pressure & meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
