Arch Capital Services, LLC., seeks Manager, Data Visualization in Dallas, TX.
Job Duties:
Work closely with underwriters, claim leaders, actuaries, data engineers, and data scientists to understand visualization requirements and build wireframes. Develop reporting solution to provide underwriting & claims leaders visibility into key metrics such as submissions, quotes, bounds, bound to quote, quote to submit, bound to submit, loss ratio, loss frequency, loss severting. Develop dashboards for different predictive models build for different business units to show the scores and various underlying variables which helps business users with informed decision. Develop workflow tool to capture user inputs within visualization tool for claims handlers to help manage their claims. Build BI automation workflows to deliver key insights in the form of pixel perfect PDF, PPT, Excel via email. Build automation workflow where appropriate to minimize manual tasks. Build data pipelines to pull the data from various on prem and cloud sources for reporting. Build optimized data models in database or in visualization tool. Optimize the pipelines and dashboards so as to make data available near real-time and improve user experience. Maintain the backlog of enhancements in existing reports. Meet with business leaders to deliver key insights/story based on the data. Develop visualization best practices for the team to follow. Implement CI/CD pipeline leveraging Azure DevOps and Github for the visualization project. Build POC's to explore new features, tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as BI Developer, Data Analytics Engineer or related position.
Must have:
5 years of experience in Power BI.
5 years of experience working on cloud-based solutions leveraging on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
5 years of experience in Power Query and DAX.
5 years of experience in building complex data models (Star Schema/Snowflake Schema) in the visualization tool.
5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries to pull the data into visualization tool and for querying data for analysis purpose.
3 years of experience in Paginated Reports/SSRS.
3 years of experience in Power Automate (MS Flow & Power Apps).
In the alternate, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as BI Developer, Data Analytics Engineer or related position.
Must have:
5 years of experience in Power BI.
5 years of experience working on cloud-based solutions leveraging on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
5 years of experience in Power Query and DAX.
