Gameplay Producer

Sony Bend Studio, renowned creator of Days Gone, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and Syphon Filter, is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative family in crafting our next high-profile AAA console title.

Production is the bridge between people and productivity through creative problem solving, communication, and the proper tools. We are seeking a Gameplay Producer who will be relied upon to collaborate with Senior Producers, Creative leads, and Studio Directors to develop, maintain and execute project planning for your teams.

In this role, you are the strategic and operational driver for your teams. You will assist in the production and management of video game content while working closely with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, programmers, and quality assurance to support the development process from concept to post-launch. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project management, communication skills, organizational proactiveness, and a passion for making games. You will facilitate team planning by partnering with your leads to plan out your teams' work to support the initiative's goals.

The ideal candidate will have a solid and wide understanding of agile development methodologies, Atlassian software (Jira and Confluence), strong interpersonal skills, continuous development experience, and adapts quickly to changing project priorities and emergent needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operation of multiple cross-discipline teams and their areas of ownership.Guide teams through the process of all phases of development, from pre-production through final approval.Effectively communicate objectives, expectations for success and the context that makes the objectives important.Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders and develop plans for resolution or mitigation.Collaborate with studio leaders to allocate and troubleshoot resourcing, agreement of project scope, and project objectives.Foster and enhance positive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external development partners.Partnering with Production team on integrating and evolving Project Management tools and philosophies for the studio.Qualifications:

Organizational & prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and project scheduling with the ability to monitor against department milestones.Professional experience in Gameplay Production or related field.Experience with Atlassian Software (Jira, Confluence) and other key productivity tools.Familiarity with Agile techniques such as SCRUM, Kanban, and traditional product management techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across Product Development and leadership teams.Experience in Continuous Game Development.Knowledgeable of current industry trends and stays up to date on competitive products and best practices.Must love games and have a passion for creating them!

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
