Our client's IT Department is seeking a Frontend UI Engineer for a remote, contract-to-hire position.
Must Haves10+ years of development experience, specializing in Angular with deep understanding of how the framework worksSolid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the DOM, and Browser APIsStrong understanding of TypeScript and how to leverage the features it offers (i.e. Algebraic typing)Experience working with Jasmine (or Jest) for unit testingExperience working with CypressAbility to work within a large codebase and refactor if neededStrong understanding of WebpackExperience with themingExperience optimizing for load time and time to render.Experience with data-intensive applicationsProficient in reactive programming with a strong understanding of RxJSWrite reusable code and libraries.Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability.
Nice To HavesExperience creating apps using Vanilla JavaScript or another Framework or Library (Vue, React, Svelte) -- We seek someone with broad exposure to the JavaScript landscape.Experience with a state management solution (i.e. NGRX, Redux)Expertise in SASS and theming.Experience creating developer tooling with Node.js or other scripting languageExperience with Service WorkersKnowledge of digital Accessibility (A11y) and how to implement in the front end.
