Description:
The corporate communications team manages global public relations, internal communications, social media and social impact. We're looking for a PR professional with experience in public relations, social media, writing and buzz marketing to join our team to help to grow our product PR initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling.
This PR Manager will be responsible for coordinating with teams in the US and internationally, helping devise and execute PR and Influencer Marketing initiatives, monitoring news and buzz coverage, tracking earned media value, writing internal reports and PR copy, creating presentation decks, and helping to manage relationships with external partners. They will partner closely with the Product Marketing team and be expected to understand and memorize in-depth technical information on client's products.
Qualifications:
minimum of 6 years' experience in public relations or journalism with at least 3 years of in-house PR experience.Experience managing agencies (international agency management is a plus).Has strong relationships with media and influencers across technology, entertainment, sports and/or fashion/beauty.Possess a positive team-player attitude and be passionate about consumer technology.bility to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Skilled at Keynote and Numbers with ability to produce high-quality deck presentations.Understands media value and familiar with tracking platformsself-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism preferred.bility to travel frequently (both domestically and internationally).Can be based in Los Angeles or New York.
