Capital One Trade Credit provides a proven and uniquely differentiated full-service AR solution to enterprise-scale clients. We help grow and protect merchants by providing flexible Net 30, Net 60, and Net 90 term financing options for their business buyers, with the seamless B2B payment experience they expect. Merchants are paid upfront for transactions, are protected from credit and fraud risk, and are able to upgrade to a digital first, tech-enabled customer experience for their buyers. Capital One Trade Credit partners with hundreds of merchants across verticals throughout the United States. Merchants can offer their business customers an extended terms account that is instantly-decisioned and available for near-immediate use and one that can be underwritten on the business entity (vs. personal credit). These accounts feature payment terms up to 90 days, credit lines up to and beyond $1M where needed, billing and payment reconciliation tailored to business expectations, and online digital self servicing. Capital One Trade Credit is looking to aggressively grow its business by adding new enterprise clients and distribution partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The purpose of the Digital Marketing Manager is to drive lead generation, increase customer engagement, and boost brand awareness through the strategic use of digital marketing channels. This includes paid search, programmatic, social media, website (SEO), and email marketing. This position will report directly to the Director, Acquisition Marketing.

In this role, you will:

Drive digital marketing campaign strategy, development, execution, results measurement and reporting, and campaign optimization. You’ll serve as a key member of the Capital One Trade Credit Marketing team, influencing and driving integrated marketing strategies, working closely with internal stakeholders, as well as external agencies, third-party content partners, and industry media publications. You will develop and execute lead-generating and brand-building marketing campaigns that drive demand, acquire new leads, increase product/solution adoption and expand awareness of the Capital One Trade Credit B2B solution. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Google Suite (Ads, Search Console, keywords and PPC), SEM/SEO, social media marketing, email marketing as well as an understanding of KPI analytics.

Responsibilities:

Work with the digital agency on campaign ideation, creative strategy, targeting, segmentation, budgeting across SEM, display, and social media advertising channels.

Own the experimental testing design to uncover key insights and inform future campaigns

Automate, analyze, and report on individual marketing campaign results, website metrics, and bigger picture trends to increase lift and conversions

Employ a test-and-learn mentality and data-centered approach in the development of marketing campaign recommendations; openly share learnings and best practices across marketing teams.

Manage website CMS activities including page creation, layout, website maintenance, on-page SEO, and recommendations on user experience updates.

Drive SEO strategy, work cross-functionally with content owners to define content, onsite and keyword optimization strategies to accelerate awareness of Capital One Trade Credit.

Act as an internal project manager for various initiatives across marketing campaign development/ execution.

Establish and support scalable processes that ensure best practices in marketing campaign development/ execution and lead management.

Working closely with Sr. Marketing Manager and Creative Team, own website updating, ensuring that messaging and content assets are current, regularly refreshed, site is easily navigable (following parameters laid out by Capital One Web Team within the scope of the WCM tool) and that the website serves as a lead generating tool featuring frictionless lead capture forms, progressive profiling and seamless entry into our marketing/sales funnel.

Identify potential marketing and communications challenges or impediments to success and resolve or escalate.

Shepard multiple marketing creative projects at once, from creative brief development to execution, through our internal process, while ensuring strategic intent aligns with execution/delivery at every step and project timelines are met.

Champion the brand, ensuring that all representations of our products (logo treatment, claims, imagery, etc) are in line with their respective brand personas, voice and style guidelines.

As needed, write and/or edit copy for emails, web pages, video/audio scripts, digital and print advertisements (supplementing our internal writer and third party agency writers).

Support the marketing planning and budget management processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

At least 7 years of B2B marketing experience to include a combination of marketing operations, strategy, demand generation, brand management and digital marketing including web and social media channels

At least 5 years of experience using Google for building campaigns and tracking campaign performance

At least 5 years of Salesforce experience, including validating and troubleshooting integrations, lead management, campaign attribution, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in the Technology sector, across a broad range of marketing functions including marketing operations, strategy, demand generation, brand management, digital marketing (including web and social media marketing), direct marketing, etc.

Proven track record of building new campaigns and workflows, and processing leads.

Experience with digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and proficiency in data analysis to drive actionable insights.

Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing, inbound/content marketing, website management, and digital advertising principles.

Some experience developing ABM campaigns and working with ABM tools is a plus.

Experience supporting/enabling Sales Teams.

Pardot (Account Engagement) experience is a plus.

Track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity.

Experience in managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing marketing materials that drive results.

Detailed-oriented with strong prioritization and time management skills; can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work.
