Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer & Team Lead. This role is pivotal in overseeing the UX team and product designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality business applications. The ideal candidate will be discovery-focused, with a strong emphasis on the discovery process, stakeholder engagement, and UX research. Key responsibilities include leading the UX team, managing product designers, developing workflows and wireframes using Figma, creating end-user portfolios, portals, and dashboards, engaging in the discovery process, conducting design workshops and user group meetings, developing clickable prototypes, collaborating on geo-fencing, maps, and GIS projects, and acting as a product visionary. The candidate will ensure 90% of the workload is managed by existing designers while providing strategic oversight and direction. This person will be responsible for the ideation and creation of the design systems in place. The ideal candidate will be highly focused on the discovery process, engaging with stakeholders and conducting thorough UX research. They should have experience creating clickable prototypes and gathering feedback. This senior-level individual will lead design workshops, propose new workshops, and facilitate user group meetings to review and refine design principles.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in Visual and UX (or Interaction Design) with emphasis in human-centered design methods
An inspiring portfolio that showcases your process, problem solving capabilities, and visual design prowess
Experience working in complex, technical environments
Ability to understand business goals and craft intuitive solutions for complex problems
5+ years with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or other design tools
Ability to create interactive high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, InVision, Axure, Framer, Principle or similar tools
Ability to promote and champion design solutions based on reason, research, and data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors Degree in interaction design, cognitive science, visual design, game design, cognitive psychology, sociology, or related disciplines null
