The Web Content Manager is responsible for publishing, managing and optimizing the digital content offered through UHCprovider.com using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Management System. This role accepts requests from several sources and manages competing deadlines. In addition to the technical skills required to author within a CMS, the Web Content Author also has a firm understanding of the overall digital landscape, experience in implementing best practices for web content and acts as an advocate for our end users to create an experience that is simple and intuitive. This role works with a wide variety of business partners and may be asked to coach requestors on how to better meet their objectives within the channel. A friendly demeanor and strong communication skills are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance and optimization of digital content, putting care provider needs first, advocating on their behalf for the best possible experience through existing digital channels

Responsible for the functional testing and accuracy of content updates completed

May be asked to assist with investigation of occasional technical bugs

Partners actively with the Analytics and Optimization team to identify important insights, create success metrics and find opportunities to leverage multi-variate testing and personalization to improve user experience

Establishes and maintains effective relationships with business partners and subject matter experts

Available to support additional digital or marketing projects as needed

Ensure WCAG Level AA compliance for all HTML content experiences on UHCprovider.com

Collaborate and offer expert digital content strategy counsel to key stakeholders

Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

1+ years project management experience within a matrix organization

1+ years of experience with digital marketing

1+ years experiencing managing and prioritizing several deliverables

1+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of marketing experience

2+ years of professional writing and editing experience

Experience with Photoshop and PowerPoint

Experience authoring within a CMS

Firm understanding of the overall digital landscape

Experience in implementing best practices for web content and acts as an advocate for our end users to create an experience that is simple and intuitive

Experience working with a wide variety of business partners and may be asked to coach requestors on how to better meet their objectives within the channel

Solid communication skills

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
