U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a Graphic Designer.

This is a full-time, beneficial position eligible for our full benefits package including medical insurance and retirement.

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

At U.S. Ski & Snowboard we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations across mediums such as print, social, broadcast and digital. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design trends, skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable and looking to be part of a "best in class" team.

Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.

You'll work closely with our Creative Team, and internal and external partners to collaborate and support the development and execution of original graphical content across various U.S. Ski & Snowboard platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or other related accreditation to an arts college or university3-5 years of experience in professional graphic designExperience managing projects from conception to completion, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet high priority deadlinesHigh energy, adaptable, and positive attitudeExpert knowledge of typography and grid systemsHave a clean, simple and effective design styleA solid creative portfolio that features typography work and strong design projectsAdvanced Adobe skillsExperience designing motion for video and social media contentWorking knowledge of Google Slides formatting including importing presentations from PowerPoint/KeynoteFamiliarity with creative production cycle and workflow for live eventsKnowledge and passion for skiing/snowboarding is preferredResponsibilities

Elevate our brand message through all visual communications including digital and printCollaborate with our internal Creative team to articulate and execute design solutionsWork with our Marketing team to conceptualize briefs and pitch decksWork closely with our social media team to create assets for platformsWork with internal team of photographers to assist in retouching and image selection marketing launches and campaignsEnhance and formalize the U.S. Ski & Snowboard style guideDesign collateral for events, social media, and digital platformsManage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentBe single point of contact for assigned projects from brief through delivery
