The Digital Marketing Specialist helps serve as the "Voice of the Bank" to the outside world through various digital platforms. Responsible for developing digital advertising and social media strategies, creating, and posting engaging content, as well as analyzing digital ad and content performance to ensure all efforts support Farm Bureau Bank's brand, objectives, and goals.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the planning, execution, and continued optimization of digital marketing initiatives including but not limited to: SEO, display ads, and social media.Lead the development, execution, and analysis of our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and promote our initiatives and events.Collaborate closely with our marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all digital platforms.Work with the marketing team to create compelling and engaging content, including paid ads, social media posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.Monitor social media channels for relevant industry news, trends, and conversations, and participate in discussions to enhance our thought leadership position.Manage all social media platforms for our multi-state brand and the social media editorial calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting of content through an online scheduler (Hootsuite) that aligns with our organizational goals and priorities.Analyze social media metrics and insights to track the performance of our campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with our followers.Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate digital marketing efforts and amplify key messages and initiatives.Stay up to date on emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for innovative strategies to drive engagement and growth.Monitor and manage online reputation, proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may arise on digital channels.Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote membership, sponsorships, and other revenue-generating opportunities.Research, develop and produce various types of engaging social media content as well as develop a process to support content gathering.Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers.Traveling to events and capturing/creating content for social mediaStay up to date on the latest updates and algorithm changes for major social media platforms, like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and X as well as current cultural trends.Ensure content is tailored to target audience segments while staying consistent with brand standards and voice.Analyze digital performance and pivoting on strategy when necessary.Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.Implement and enforce marketing and social media guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance as well as abide by social media platform guidelines.Performs other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and organization skills.Familiarity with copywriting and storytellingProficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelIn-depth working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver)High level of creativity, attention to detail and time management skillsA thought leader with strong interpersonal skillsAble to travel locally and nationally.Able to work effectively under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.Knowledge of bank marketing compliance regulations that apply to social media marketing.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications.3-5 years' experience in digital content creation.Experience with paid media advertising, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.Experience marketing to rural audiences.Portfolio of creative project marketing and writing samples will be required.
