UX Engineer

Responsible for working across all Netsmart solutions through UX advocacy, design and testing to ensure the user experience is appropriate across a variety of healthcare venues.

Responsibilities

Design user friendly, innovative experiences from any stage of the software development process including designing brand new solutions, redesigning large solutions, and adding functionality to existing solutions.

Work with a variety of different stakeholders within a project to continually source feedback, align on project goals, and assure project success.

Collaborate with developers who will implement UX team designs to ensure proper implementation that maintains a high-quality user experience.

Work with product teams to perform metric analysis on completed software products and analyze user experience improvements from previous iterations.

Act as a UX advocate to help spread awareness and knowledge to the many roles within the company, as well as to our clients.

Perform research to understand a large variety of complex, healthcare workflows and incorporate into wireframe visuals and product design

QualificationsRequired

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Strong communication skills to successfully collaborate with a variety of roles in the product development process, as well as clients and their end users.

Effective time management and prioritization competencies to handle a diverse range of projects varying in scope and topic.

Ability to travel domestically to visit clients onsite and perform user interviews and shadowing.

Positive sense of initiative to maintain progress on projects, as well as consider UX team improvements as a whole.
