Job Description

The Role

:

PXP Studios is looking for an Art Director/Creator, you bring big ideas that can work across all mediums and are excited to be heavily involved at every stage of the process from concept to creation. Your interests and skill sets don’t stop at that of a typical Art Director. While a traditional background in content production is a plus, we’re seeking creators who can plan, point, shoot, and edit. Our ideal candidate will lead with a curious foot, love figuring things out, and understand how beautiful things are made with their phone or a camera - whatever it takes to communicate great ideas, thoughts, and expressions engagingly.

Role Objectives:

Works closely with Executive Producer to establish treatments and shoot planning and execution

Collaborate with IAT(Internal Agency Teams), ACD, Copywriter, Strategist, Producers, Production Crew and Post team to raise the level of work across multiple clients.

Understand when and how to engage different departments: Media, Strategy, Creative and Production.

Supervise creative productions partnering with Executive Producer.

Anticipate and address strategic and creative obstacles and provide possible solutions.

Adapt look, feel and style of work across a variety of brands, targets, and mediums, and to actively participate in multiple projects simultaneously.

Gather information from media, research, and trend spotters to create an appropriate style and visual expression for product or a service and remain current on industry and technology trends.

Craft, present and pitch creative concepts and decks to internal and client teams.

Help create and maintain a high energy level throughout the team.

Review all production development work for accuracy before final production.

Plan, develop, and strategize media concepts for multi-platform posts.

Shoot and edit content for stories or posts with a creative eye and flair with accessible and common tools.

Qualifications

Experience in Retail is a Must, Grocery is a Plus

2-5 years of experience in an advertising agency or content creation role. Experience in production is a plus.

Your experience spans social, digital, integrated, and holistic brand marketing across multiple brands and industries.

A hybrid production skillset encouraged

Strong presentation skills.

Must be a self-starter that can work (and thrive) independently.

Has a can-do attitude, willingness and ability to get into the weeds to support Client visions and production needs

The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals.

Must have a strong online portfolio, candidates will not be considered without one.

Absolutely must love the speed of culture and social, a master at pop culture trends, understand the wit of the internet, and be fearless

Someone who loves to create and wants to work in a fun environment that can help them learn, grow, explore and do their best work yet.
