We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will support our marketing efforts across all Moonstone properties. Your role will focus on enhancing customer engagement and retention through strategic marketing campaigns, content creation, and community outreach.The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts across various channels. This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research to identify new opportunities, and creating and distributing promotional materials like signage and brochures.They will manage and update website content regularly, develop SEO-optimized blog posts, and oversee the online store by writing product descriptions and photographing products. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will compose bi-weekly promotional emails, generate monthly analytics reports, and assist with social media management. They will engage with guest reviews, coordinate special events, conduct sponsorship outreach, write press releases, and handle the distribution of collateral.This role requires staffing public events throughout the year, including occasional weekends and nights, especially leading up to the holidays, as determined by the events schedule. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking in front of groups and attending networking and community meetings.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.Experience in marketing or marketing-related field preferred.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills, phone etiquette and networking skills are required.Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems are a plus.Design skills are a plus.
