Welcome to a workplace as extraordinary as the landscape that surrounds it!Overview:Job Summary:An Expeditor at Black Desert Resort plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered accurately and promptly. This position reports to the Executive Chef and is responsible for coordinating between the kitchen and the dining room to ensure a seamless and efficient service. The Expo ensures that dishes meet presentation standards and are delivered to guests in a timely manner.Job Specification:Location:

Opportunities for professional growth and advancement in the hospitality industry.Job Responsibilities but not limited to:Coordinate and expedite the flow of orders between the kitchen and the dining room to ensure timely and accurate service.Inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before delivery to guests.Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station and service areas.Assist with plating and garnishing of dishes to meet presentation standards.Address any issues or discrepancies with orders promptly and professionally.Monitor and manage the timing of orders to ensure that dishes are served fresh and hot.Provide support to the kitchen and front-of-house staff as needed.Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu items and service standards.

Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle high-volume service.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting trays of food.Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges.

Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
