Responsibilities
:The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare high-quality media, buffers, and reagents, ensuring that all preparations meet strict quality control standards.Prepare high-quality media, buffers, and reagents according to a set schedule and special requests.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and guidelines related to reagent and buffer preparation.Track and document the shelf life of media mixes, planning for regular re-preparation as needed.Perform quality control testing to ensure products are free from contamination and are correctly formulated.
Qualifications
:
Educational Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or a relevant discipline ORAssociate's Degree in chemistry, biology, or a relevant discipline with 2+ years of laboratory experience ORHigh School Degree/GED with 5 years of laboratory experience
Experience:Media and reagent preparation experience within a laboratory environment.Basic understanding of the chemistry of buffer preparation, including titrations and reactions.
Additional Details:Onsite positionPosition type: 6 months contract opportunityPay rate: $28-$30/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
