These are made generally available to theVBC | Studio organization as a whole in order to clearly delineate areas of growth or improvement for those aiming to gain additional experience and increased responsibility.Design and implement design direction for drawings and sketches as assigned project leadReview Revit and BIM360 file management to confirm conformity with office standardsGenerate and review design deliverables generated byprojectmembers from the design, production, and rendering teams to confirm conformity with office standardsManage dissemination and performreview of team meeting agendas and meeting minutesfor general circulationManage document dissemination and generate Revit project documentation as assigned project lead to ensure timely deliverable submission to Client and permitting entitiesManage Revit and BIM360 file assignments and access as assigned project leadManage, coordinate, and review Revit documentation efforts of project drafting teamProvide feedback to BIM manuals, procedures, and Revit template updatesif required to Design Technology Manager for incorporationinto office and documentation standardsGenerate and record responses to internal and external Customer comments and requests in a professional, timely, and courteous mannerManage and record Client and Team reviews and approvals through BIM360Propose revisions and improvements to architectural standard details to Senior Design Associate where neededCreate and update standardoffice documentand templateupdateswhere neededunder supervision of Senior Design Associate and Director of Design Operations where neededInterface with construction and manufacturing teamsto ensure faithful and profitable execution of VBC projectsConduct periodic project siteand | or factoryvisits and document construction and | or manufacturing progress to ensure compliance with project documentationSupport strategies that will help meetthe needs of and improve the level of service to internal and external CustomersSupport Senior Design Associate to motivate, lead, and mentor junior team members

Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Construction experience required10-15 Years of experience requiredDfMA familiarity preferredMust have a positive attitude and be able to function as part of a teamMust have exceptional oral and written communication skillsMust be detail-oriented and highly organizedMust have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesMust have be an independent problem-solver and appreciate and thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Reports to Senior Design AssociateWorks closely with VBC | Studio Junior Team Members, Drafters, and Rendering TeamWorks closely with VBC | Construction Project Managers on project specific itemsWorks closely with VBC | Manufacturing Project Managers on project specific itemsWorks closely with Design Technology Manager to ensure documentation compliance with office standardsWorks closely with Engineering Drafting Team to ensureinclusion of shop drawing requirementsPosition located at VBC | Studio Main OfficeTravel expected 4-8 times a year
