Overview:

As a Manager Product Marketing specializing in retail planning, you will lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies tailored for retail clients seeking innovation in merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, size scaling, and pricing and promotions. Your role involves collaborating with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure the SaaS solutions align with market needs and customer requirements. You will analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to craft compelling value propositions, positioning, and messaging for retail-focused software products. Industry experience in softlines / apparel is desirable. Your expertise in retail planning will help you position Blue Yonder as a leader in the B2B retail tech space.

Scope:

The Product Marketing Manager will have a deep understanding of the Luminate platform, customer verticals, and competitive landscape. They will be a product evangelist and create the go to market plan for product launches and market communications throughout product life cycles.In addition to building strong relationships with product management, engineering, delivery, and sales, they will bring an outside-in perspective to understand customer needs.They will have the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into value-driven positioning, messaging, and content that resonates with customers along each stage of the buying process.What you’ll do

Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape.Create, and execute the product marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for new and existing products to optimize reach, customer acquisition and retention.Analyze competitive positions and provide key insights to guide product requirements and initiatives.Lead creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content.Drive development of content across digital and print such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement, and trade show/event material.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders like product management, sales, demand generation, partner marketing and customer success to execute winning marketing initiatives.Serve as a subject matter expert on the category internally and externally, creating and delivering presentations with confidence.Monitor market and competitive trends and messaging, feeding insights back into internal sales and industry teams to adjust strategies, product positioning, offers, and execution as needed.What we are looking for

3+ years of software marketing experience preferably in supply chain, retail, or SaaS.A deep understanding of retail merchandising in a supply chain context, with a focus on merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, size scaling, pricing and promotions.Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant marketing experience required. MBA is a plus.Self-starter with proven planning and project management skills, with proven ability to oversee complex projects from origin to execution.Experience in these additional marketing areas is a plus: demand generation, communications, branding, and product management.Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills with strong ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Available to work in a distributed, global time zone environment.#LI-REMOTE

The salary range for this position is: USD $ 91,111.54 - $ 114,888.45

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
