Hueman Studio is a design studio based in SoCal that combines strategy, positioning, and people-centered design to create powerful brands, websites, and visuals that engage your audience and help you grow. We are a small, but growing team, and are incredibly passionate about the work we do for our clients. We work with small to mid size organizations and help with building websites, designing brand identities and logos, capture photo/video, and general graphic design.

We love investing in our team and having our team members grow with their role. This will be a remote position, however, most of our team is based in our Rancho Cucamonga office. If you’re somewhat local to the area, it would be great to be able to meet in person from time to time!RequirementsWe are looking for a Website Designer who will be capable of taking the reigns on designing and building websites for our clients and creating amazing user experiences. Most of our websites are built on Squarespace, but we build websites on several other platforms as well.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have great user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Responsibilities:Assist the creative team in designing and building websites for clients, our own website, or assist with maintenance and updates to existing websites.Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks.Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.Most websites we build will be on Squarespace, but there may be opportunities to learn and build on other platforms if desired.Work on all aspects of the design process including layout, typography, color, etc.Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.Design within the confines of a brand's style guide for brand consistency.Any ad hoc projects as assigned by manager.Assist with email and Zoom/web correspondence with clients or prospects as needed.What should you have:Proven work experience as a Web Designer.Graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Squarespace experience is a plus, but if not, a willingness to learn and become very familiar with Squarespace!Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
