This role reports into our Boston office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday).

Wayfair is seeking an entrepreneurial and action-oriented Senior Associate, TV Marketing. This role will play a critical role in Wayfair’s growth strategy and competitive positioning by working cross-functionally to drive results with internal and external business partners. The candidate should be endlessly curious, and thrive in fast-paced and collaborative environments. Our Marketing team drives growth for Wayfair on every major advertising platform. We aren’t your standard marketers: we own the strategy, P&L, and roadmaps for our portfolio of cutting-edge and in-house-built marketing and AdTech products. We utilize data to acquire high-potential customers and engage them to come back again and again. We drive profitable top line revenue by investing marketing dollars where they will provide the greatest return for the business and leverage our understanding of the customer to impact the overall business strategy. You’ll be tasked with managing a multi-million dollar budget, helping to drive efficient media buying, and devising new testing strategies to grow the business.

As a Senior Associate, TV Marketing, you will work directly with a portfolio of TV network partners to negotiate and plan best-in-class TV campaigns. You’ll have day-to-day ownership over media plans and buying processes, work cross-functionally with creative and other marketing channels to manage and launch large-scale TV campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

Own, analyze and execute strong TV media plans

Analyze program performance, identify trends, and create opportunities for improvement while reacting to deviations from the original plan quickly and strategically

Partner with our analytics teams to refine our brand measurement approach, linking brand health metrics to performance

Define, pilot, and rapidly iterate testing initiatives across program optimization and creative, with an understanding and strategic view of all internal/external variables

Partner with and leverage internal teams, including, Business Intelligence and Creative to help drive agenda and implementation

What You’ll Need:

3-5+ years of experience in and around TV media buying preferred

Strong consultative skills: ability to work effectively and persuasively with a highly cross- functional group of business partners

Strong business acumen: ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective

Proficient analytical and quantitative skills: ability to take data and turn into actionable insights

Exceptional problem-solving and execution skills: ability to make decisions, reprioritize tasks, and draw conclusions in the face of ambiguity

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Excel
