Cloud Sales Director - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Remote - US

Preferred Markets: SF/Bay Area, Chicago, Atlanta, New York/Boston

Summary

Thunder closed our Series A fundraising round in August 2023, and is again investing in our amazing Sales and Account team. As our proven selling playbook continues to evolve, we are seeking dedicated Services sellers who:

Bring a successful track record of solution selling within the Salesforce partner ecosystem, specifically Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud engagementsFocused on working closely with project/engagement teams who are delivering the scope of work soldUnderstand how to credibly scope consulting deals from a technical lensAre passionate about building relationships, and collaboratively solves problems with customers and channel partners alikeDemonstrate Thunder's core values by leading with transparency, empathy, ownership and compassion - with a good dose of grit!

Reports to: AVP, Sales

Job Summary

As a Thunder Cloud Sales Director, your focus will be on selling world-class Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation services. You will work directly with Thunder's prospective clients to understand their needs, articulate our Marketing Cloud specific offerings, and close deals, while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Identify potential clients interested in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation services.Consultative Selling: Understand the client's specific needs and tailor your pitch for our implementation services accordingly.Sales Pipeline Management: Manage multiple sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle.Collaboration: Work with pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and implementation success.Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in services and/or consulting sales, within the Salesforce ecosystemProven track record of selling Salesforce Marketing Cloud consulting servicesExperience selling MC Personalization, Data Cloud, and Tableau (preferred)Credibility through Salesforce certifications, especially in Marketing CloudPrevious experience in a startup or fast-paced environmentExceptional communication and presentation skillsPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
