Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Audio-Video and Lighting Engineer to join our team and support our network of entertainment venues and B2B installations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic and fast-paced world of immersive entertainment. Cosm AVL engineers form the technical backbone of our daily venue operations. Our AVL engineers ensure seamless operation of our world-class experience technology, looking after all aspects of its implementation, maintenance, and evolution. Our goal is nothing short of incredible guest experiences every day, every visit.Responsibilities:Design, engineer, and implement Cosm experience technology in our venues and for select B2B customer projects.Develop strategies for efficient experience technology scaling and cross-venue implementation uniformity.Create comprehensive documentation for installed systems, including wiring diagrams, configuration settings, maintenance playbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.Build operational procedures for new and existing technology, provide resources for training and technical support.Coordinate system upgrades, hardware & software installations, and technology transitions.Coordinate and track resolution of issues across all presentation systems. Continuously review field requests and challenges and develop solutions.Assist field teams in issue diagnosis and assessment. Provide actionable resolution or workaround guidance to maintain operational continuity.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of our experience technology.System capabilities SME for new media/artist collaborations, corporate & special events, etc.Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to design and recommend innovative solutions.Experience:Bachelor’s degree in IT, EE, CS, or similar field8+ years proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining audiovisual systems in venues, attractions, or other professional settingsExpertise in AV processing, control systems, routing, and signal flowExtensive background working with Windows PC technologyExcellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsEnthusiastic, self-motivated, organized, proactive, and collaborativeExperience in Q-SYS programming, ETC Paradigm and/or Mosaic programming, Multicast video workflows, and/or IPTV systems is a plusThis position requires occasional travel, including out-of-state travel. Travel is estimated at less than 10% of annual working days.The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 - $135,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
