As the Vice President of Marketing, you are a true marketing strategist whose mission is to develop and execute a cohesive and comprehensive marketing strategy for the firm to increase brand awareness and meet business objectives. You oversee the organization’s branding, traditional & digital marketing, event planning, marketing campaign and public relations activities. Your responsibilities include staff management and utilization, marketing budget, and meeting the needs of the firm and individual business units.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Marketing Strategy

- Leveraging market and client data as well as recommendations from firm leadership, you develop and execute a cohesive and comprehensive marketing strategy that employs a vision for marketing, associated goals, tactics and priorities that is in support of with the firm’s strategic growth goals.People Management

- You recruit, hire, develop and manage marketing and communications staff. You provide appropriate mentoring, manage performance feedback, training and professional development opportunities. You create and maintain an inclusive and psychologically safe team environment where all members feel empowered to contribute.Campaign Execution

- You work with business leaders to develop and execute targeted campaigns and programs that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads in targeted markets, and continue to nurture those relationships through the distribution of relevant and timely content.Digital Strategy

– You develop a robust digital presence using earned, owned, and paid channels that focus on building awareness of the brand, consideration of the firm’s services, and lead capture.Conference Strategy

– You develop a robust conference and sponsorship program designed to create enhanced opportunity for new business development with key audience targets. You incorporate a means to evaluate the ROI of conference participation.Thought Leadership

– You leverage the knowledge, skills and reputations of the many subject matter experts within Sellers Dorsey within thought leadership as a means to increase brand awareness and generate sales leads; you incorporate thought leadership into broader public relations campaigns.Quality & Reporting

– You develop and periodically report out relevant metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and investments as well as maintain a mechanism to track competitors in the marketplace. You design and develop an internal marketing quality assurance process to verify and validate that materials and communications support the strategic needs and intentions of the Firm. You actively collaborate with all internal stakeholders to capture input, varying perspectives and client insights prior to marketing launches.Budget

– You work with the Corporate Management Team to develop and execute an annual marketing budget aligned with overall corporate strategy and growth goals and ensure resources are utilized in a manner that maximizes long-term profitability and client account growth.Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. Advanced degree in marketing or MBA preferred (or additional relevant experience in lieu of such advanced degree).12 – 15 combined years in a marketing leadership role, preferably in the professional services industry.A track-record of success in rapidly improving an organization’s external communications strategy and execution.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that respond to market trends and enhance the firm’s brand and footprint.Experience effectively engaging with subject-matter experts on complex or nuanced issues and distilling key messages succinctly for verbal or written communications.Experience managing competing priorities.Proven expertise in developing and managing relationships, both internal and external.Experience working in the healthcare and/or Medicaid field.Ability to work effectively with internal experts and business units to expand the firm’s reputation and recognition and highlight the expertise and experience of the firm’s talented team.Mastery of Microsoft Office.Other Requirements

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, plus the ability to facilitate negotiations in complex situations.A strategic, big-picture thinker, who also values action and excellence in delivery and execution.Intellectually curious – you actively seek new information related to both the communications.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated salary range for candidates is $186,800/year in our lowest geographic market range to up to $250,000/year in our highest geographic market range. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, candidates are not hired near the top of the range and compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to 20% of annual salary.Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, the successful candidate (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, and vision and for insurance plans offering short term disability, long term disability, and basic life. Employees are also able to enroll in Sellers Dorsey’s 401k plan provided they meet plan requirements. Sellers Dorsey offers a Flexible Time Off that allows employees to use what they need. Additionally, we offer 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, paid time off for qualifying medical leave, and up to 12 weeks of combined paid parental and bonding leave.
