MHA is seeking to hire an experienced and capable Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the ROSS Program and compliance.The Chief Financial Officer performs extremely complex and/or sensitive accounting activities associated with the assigned responsibility and oversees the operations of the Finance DepartmentMHA consists of 400 Public Housing units, 356 Housing Choice Vouchers, 118 Multifamily properties, and Maryville Housing Development Corporation, which serves as a Non-Profit. MHA is also a Moving To Work Agency.The CFO is responsible for managing, monitoring, and evaluating the general ledger, accounts receivable/resident accounting, accounts payable/payroll, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, Public Housing, Multifamily, and other housing programs he or she will also be responsible for accounting activities and services of the Finance Department.Other DutiesTrack monthly performance measures and report key findings to the Executive Director

Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Maintain CFP entries and track spending in each grant.Develop and track annual budgets for each program.Meet all HUD reporting deadlines.Develop company goals in alignment with strategic objectives annually with the Executive Director and the Board.Experience Sought:Extensive experience in advanced housing accounting and all standards of accounting principles.Experience with HUD Reporting RequirementsExtensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis.Excellent leadership skills with steadfast personal integrity.Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. General computer literacy for daily email, word processing, data entry, spreadsheet use, graphics, etc.Bachelor's degree or higher in business, management, urban planning and development, or a related field preferred.
