All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Strategy Consulting Team (SCT) seeks an experienced and motivated communications and outreach operations integrator to support a Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6 client. This position is responsible for:

bringing operational unity and synchronization between several components (Initiatives Group/Strategic Planners, Strategic Communicators, Protocol/Event Planner, G-6 Front Office, points of contact at relevant locations/engagement sites) into a single system (planning process) that functions as one,

developing a travel concept of operations to optimize travel operations and achieve organizational goals,

and cutting across the silos or functional boundaries of the G-6 strategic planning and communications contract support team.

Duties:

Close coordination with the strategic planning, strategic communication, and knowledge management within the G-6 to enable synchronized, coordinated, and fully integrated efforts across travel-related operations and the associated strategic messaging throughout strategies, plans, products, and tools.

Responsible for strategic planning, coordination, and integration of travel-related Concept of Operations (CONOPs) to facilitate G-6 strategic outreach with internal and external stakeholders and audiences to achieve organizational strategic objectives.

Leverage expert knowledge in external and internal media and venues to educate and inform stakeholders and audiences about G-6 initiatives to advance overall goals.

Clearly communicate G-6 strategic vision, direction, roles, capabilities, and expectations, internally and externally, by developing comprehensive, proactive plans for travel and engagements to achieve the desired results.

Leverage organizational tools and methodologies to integrate different priorities and strategies, ensuring seamless data flow across contract tasks.

Participate in coordination meetings and work groups with external agency communication planners and project leads within the G-6 to assist in synchronizing strategic messaging across diverse stakeholder groups (including the broad Signal and Cyber community).

Conduct research and analysis in support of G-6 missions and priorities. This requires an in-depth understanding of media space, outlets, and journalists to prepare value-added background and analysis that drives outreach and engagement beyond simply understanding the G-6 missions, priorities, and lines of effort.

Establishes and promotes effective relationship development processes with workforce customers, stakeholders, and partners.

Advising senior-level management on communication techniques and principles and recommending best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Security clearance of secret or above.

Minimum of 7 years of providing strategic communications and outreach support.

Skilled in effective oral and written communications, developing and maintaining key messages, publication content, leadership talking points, and policy updates.

Experienced in communication principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

Skilled in conceptualizing, establishing, and implementing communications programs to align with the organizational strategic plan.

Ability to manage multiple writing and editing tasks directly supporting senior-level executives.

Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Exceptional strategic problem-solving skills.

Department of Defense experience is preferred.
