Your Career

You are passionate about UI best practices, and solving the modern world challenges in the front end world, like code reusability, scalability, and sharing. In this role, you would be building features for some of our top performing products, and have a large impact on the user experience of our products at Palo Alto Networks.

You love to code and build exceptional products, and you bring new ideas in all facets of software development. You are passionate about the code you deliver and take pride and ownership in seeing it get delivered end-to-end. You are someone who is highly technical, understands the modern component driven development, and understands the complexities involved.

Your Impact

As a key engineer in the SASE IA UI team you will:

Actively participate in development of the UI for the SASE productsArchitect highly performant, scalable, accessible, and reusable front-end componentsCollaborate with PLM, Backend Engineers, UX Designers, and UI Engineers on feature developmentWork with other frontend developers, designers to plan, implement and deploy sophisticated user interfacesReview the Functional Specifications, and work with the Backend team to complete API integration with the UIActively involved in code reviews to ensure the shipped product meets the highest code standards and follows best practicesPro-actively design and improve all aspects of the UI, collaborate closely with team members to produce extraordinary user experience

Qualifications

Your Experience

You have expertise in writing scalable enterprise web-apps using Javascript, CSS, HTML, ReactJS, TypeScript, JestYou have experience setting up a front-end toolchain for tests, docs, bundles, using modern JS tooling librariesYou are an excellent communicator, self-driven, and can work collaboratively with product teamsYou have experience with modern build tools such as NPM/Yarn, Webpack, Monorepo structuresYou have experience in Test-Driven Development (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine)BS/MS in CS/Computer Science or IS/Information Systems or a related field is required or equivalent military experience required8+ years plus of related experience

The compensation offered for this position will depend on your degree or progress toward degree , qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting rate is expected to be $175,000/yr for the specific role.
