Description
We are looking to add a purchasing Expeditor to our materials team. This person will follow up with vendors on purchased parts and materials to help speed up receiving to then allow more quicker delivery to our customers.
Responsibilities:

• Use ERP system to track and note orders.
• Continually reach out via email and phone to vendors for follow up.
• Run shortage reports to maintain the most up to date requirements for machine builds.
• Follow workplace safety standards.
• Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals.
• Assist in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of expediting experience preferred.
• Strong Communications skills both verbal and written.
• 1+ years of experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to safely lift up to 25 pounds at varying frequencies.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
