Job Summary
HP is seeking a resourceful and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the transformative rebranding and redesign of our flagship HP Smart app. In this role you will be part of the Worldwide Consumer Services Marketing team and working directly with Customer Success and Global Business Unit teams to bring the app roadmap to life. This is a critical role in defining the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and overall engagement plan to drive user adoption and turn this app into the ultimate destination for all things HP.
A successful candidate for this role will be a self-driven innovator with sharp business instincts and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects under pressure. You will have exceptional product marketing, program management, stakeholder management & influence, and collaboration skills, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering measurable results within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Shape the Vision: Develop the overarching product marketing strategy and roadmap for the HP Smart app, ensuring alignment with broader HP business goals.
Drive Go-To-Market Success: Create and lead comprehensive GTM plans for launches, new features, and ongoing engagement campaigns across worldwide markets in collaboration with Marketing, PR/Comms, and Product teams.
Understand the Market: Conduct thorough customer research, competitive analysis, and market segmentation to deeply understand the audience and inform product positioning & messaging to drive engagement.
Champion the App: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that highlights the unique value proposition of the HP Smart app to both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead with Data: Track key performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations to iteratively refine marketing strategies.
Collaboration is Key: Build strong partnerships across product management, design, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution.
Ensure Global Success: Manage international initiatives and coordinate localization efforts to make the HP Smart app successful across all markets worldwide.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a nice to have.
5+ years of proven experience in product marketing, ideally within technology or consumer software.
Demonstrated success in developing and leading integrated marketing campaigns, launches, and product messaging.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data-driven insights into impactful strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including crafting compelling presentations and marketing collateral.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence stakeholders across various teams and levels.
Natural curiosity with a passion for understanding market trends and customer needs.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education & Experience
Recommended
Experience in marketing consumer mobile applications and/or SaaS products.
Familiarity with the printer, PC, or consumer electronics space.
