Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

Archer is hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to drive the company's push to commercialization by 2025. This person will play a crucial role across all marketing initiatives, including communications, PR, events, content, social media, and C-Suite special projects. This is a generalist role that will have a massive impact on Archer's mission, brand, and long term outcomes.
What You'll Do:

  • Drive Archer's comms strategy as we prepare to bring our eVTOL aircraft to market and lead the world into the next transportation revolution.
  • Develop social media plan and content calendar across all channels, with an emphasis on video content.
  • Plan and execute company events, including trade shows & conferences, executive speaking spots, and partner meetings.
  • Support executive team and board initiatives around our broader commercial efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget, control for spend, and measure ROI at every turn.
What You Need:
  • 8+ years of marketing experience across agency and in-house settings.
  • Experience in startup environments building marketing infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Flexibility to work as both a generalist and SME across the full marketing stack.
  • Track record of successfully bringing new products to market.
  • Experience building a PR machine that reaches a diverse set of audiences.
  • Ability to analyze marketing outcomes.
  • Creative skillset for content and social campaign work.
  • Experience collaborating with high-level executives on company-wide priorities.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience in hardware, frontier tech, aviation / aerospace, and/or electric vehicles.
  • Deep network of media contacts to help drive our PR strategy
  • Knowledge of international markets in Europe, MENA, APAC

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $160,000 - $220,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
