The Paid Digital Media Strategist will be responsible for working with our ad agency through planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various platforms. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, creativity in ad copy development, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to drive performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various ad channels, including Google, Meta, Search, CTV and more.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies and conducting testing to maximize ROI.
  • Provide updates on campaign performance and management to the team.


Copy & Creative Development:

  • Work with internal and external teams to develop compelling, conversion-focused ad copy and visuals.
  • Conduct A/B Testing to refine ad creative and improve campaign performance.


Budget Management:

  • Set, manage, and optimize advertising budgets to achieve conversion and ROI objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.


Data Analysis:

  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze performance, extracting actionable insights to inform optimizations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in tools and data flow, ensuring everything is functioning as expected.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ad platform changes.


Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization:

  • Work with website team to identify on-site opportunities and conduct tests to improve results.
  • Create, implement, and test copy on landing pages associated with ad efforts.
  • Assess and test new advertising channels/platforms, marketing tools, and affiliate partnerships to support business needs and growth.


Influencer Marketing:

  • Collaborate with Product Marketer to develop influencer marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive conversions.
  • Identify and evaluate key influencers in our industry for partnerships that align with our business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, using insights to optimize future efforts and ensure a strong ROI.


Endemic Partnerships:

  • Identify and evaluate partnerships with endemic sites and platforms that align with our brand and target audience.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of endemic partnership campaigns, leveraging data to optimize and enhance future collaborations.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of performance marketing experience, with a focus on campaign management, familiarity with large ad platforms, conversion optimization, and revenue generation.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and revenue goals of significant scale.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to optimize day-to-day performance and build efficient direct response initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Sports industry knowledge and passion for sports is a plus.
