Job Purpose

There is a much greater need to have effective and frequent communications with Acura’s Zones and Dealers with the absence of Acura DAAs and in today's digital landscape.

Tier 1 and Tier 3 spend is nearly $250 million dollars annually. To create the strategy and coordination between AHM's national investments and the dealers’ tier 3 marketing plans is critical to maximize expense, increase marketing performance, and reduce waste.

The Regional assistant manager with support will attend and NDAB meetings, Grass Roots Zone meetings, Internal Sales Correlation meetings throughout the year in order to communicate National Marketing Direction and receive feedback regrading marketing tools that can help Acura achieve its sales goals.

The Assistant Manager will strive to drive efficiencies by looking at all buys holistically so that Tier 1, Top Market local buys and Tier 3 efforts are better coordinated and optimized by objective.

Key Accountabilities

  • DAA, Grass Roots and Various Dealer Meeting and Events. Attend meetings, Present National POV and activities to Zones and Dealers. Share plans and align plans so that investments are maximized by eliminating duplication. Ensure that investments leverage both factory, Zone, and local dealer data.
  • Manage Acura event marketing activities in the market and engage dealer body participation in execution of events.
    • Event Partnerships IMSA racing and Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach
    • Dealer Participation in localized Events is critical to maximize both investment and ultimately marketing results.
  • Develop Sales Marketing Strategies and Coordinate Tier 3 Marketing Activities.
  • Specifically coordinate incentive cycles and sales event periods with marketing and sales to ensure that incentives and marketing messages are aligned to maximize sales results.
  • Must understand the creative needs by market to help relay needs to internal production team.
  • Drive efficient spending and match sales to marketing activities (Qualified Traffic and Leads Analyses) - Manage analytics from sales to website ratios to understand marketing’s relationship to sales. Specifically identify what marketing gaps are seen with in the 4 core Marketing KPIS:
    • Qualified Web Traffic Ratio to Sales and understand what actions are necessary
    • Understand Monthly Google Search Trends by model across all phases of the purchase funnel
    • Understand Edmunds and Third-party Site Data for both Honda and competitive brands
    • Understand Hall & Partners Data on Brand and its relationship to sales and the overall segment
  • Coordinate information with Acura Dealer Digital Provider (JD Power):
    • Proactively participate in weekly JDP calls regarding agenda, Tier 3 strategy, and action items. Ensure all ad builder assets are current and communicated.
    • Work with compliance agency and zones to ensure all brand guidelines are being met.
    • Mange relationship with Ansira (Compliance agency)
    • Compliance guidelines include managing Search Engine guidelines as well as all creative and Regional Marketing Fund usage 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10 years of experience
  • 5 years Auto experience
  • Marketing Experience Required
  • Field Experience Preferred– Experience working with Dealers
