Job SummaryFishbeck is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Market Sector leaders to provide strategic marketing advice and support across various service lines, define growth targets, and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and business development, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Primary Functions
  • Assist Market Sector Directors with developing annual business development plans and goals, including measurable objectives and specific initiatives for growth.
  • Develop market specific templates for use when creating annual business development plans.
  • Define market sector growth targets and assist department leaders in prioritizing key business pursuits.
  • Conduct market research and gather forecasting data to identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Monitor sales performance and trends, ensure adherence to business development plans and work with Market Sector Directors to adjust strategies as needed throughout the year.
  • Collaborate with Market Sector Directors to drive sales, close new business, and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Provide strategic advice, recommendations, and support for marketing initiatives across various service lines.
  • Facilitate the annual sales goal process with Market Sector Directors.
  • Facilitate communication between Business Development leaders and Market Sector Directors to develop strategies and goals for market sectors and geographies.
  • Plan and lead retreats and joint meetings for Market Sector Directors and Business Development Leaders.
  • Identify advantageous events and organizations, coordinating appropriate staff attendance and continuously assessing ROI of sponsorships, memberships, and event participation.
Minimum Physical RequirementsMobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, visual acuity to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone. Desired Education/LicensureBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Desired Skills/Experience
  • 10+ years of proven experience in marketing strategy and sales enablement, preferably within engineering or related professional services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in market research and forecasting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns and optimizing performance based on metrics.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to represent the firm professionally at events.
