Description
Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator position provides marketing, graphic design, and office administration support to commercial real estate brokers in the Capital Markets Group. This role executes both the corporate marketing strategy and regional initiatives. In addition, this role is the point person for graphic design and analytic underwriting of the San Diego team's marketing packages which are supported remotely.
The overall goal of this position is to provide the best marketing, graphic design, and office administration support in our industry while enhancing the SRS brand. The successful candidate in this position will play a critical role in the success of SRS' industry-leading retail real estate brokers and the presence of the SRS brand in the local market. This role requires a can-do, customer-service-focused attitude, and offers a well-rounded marketing position with opportunities for growing knowledge and experience in all facets of marketing, graphic design, analytics, and commercial real estate. This position provides access to the best marketing software, tools, and templates in the industry as well as ongoing training.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Graphic Design
• Ensure all communications, presentations, and marketing materials enhance the SRS brand and are consistent with brand guidelines and precedents set by the corporate marketing team.
• Create print and digital marketing packages and presentations for property listings.
• Create and deploy e-mail blasts for property listings.
• Create and deploy any marketing presentation and materials.
• Build and maintain property listings and client information as needed on SRSRE.COM, CoStar, LoopNet, and potentially other third-party sites.
• Maintain, update, and segment contact databases, email distribution lists, and party invitation lists.
• Assist research analysts with market aerial map creation as well as demographic and traffic count research as needed.
• Assist in preparation of documents related to property listings, which may include reporting spreadsheets and PR notices.
• Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based business management software) to assist brokers in tracking the progress of their listings and business development pursuits.
• Assist in aspects of computer usage related to marketing including e-mail signatures, styling documents according to SRS brand standards, and printing.
• Manage local office social media accounts by maintaining brand standards, distributing relevant content regularly and increasing engagement and followers.
Analytics
• Collaborate with the Analyst team to ensure financial discipline is integrated into any marketing materials.
• Prepare commercial real estate sales packages and submissions for presentation to brokers and buyers.
• Represent SRS to internal and external partners/clients in a manner that inspires overall confidence in the organization, including responding to buyer inquiries regarding properties and the overall commercial real estate market.
• Coordinate information regarding market and occupancy data, expense analysis, rent/sales, maps, aerials, and comparables.
• Understand basic financial summaries for all active listings.
• Organize and present data analysis and make recommendations.
Office Management:

  • General office management duties to include the following:
o Greet visitors and assist with traffic flow, take messages, and assist guest/clients as needed
o Serve as point of contact for office vendors/suppliers
o Order and stock all supplies; maintain appropriate inventory levels in supply areas
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic understanding of commercial real estate or experience with commercial real estate required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in marketing, graphics design, advertising, finance, or business).
• Experience or knowledge in financial model creation and utilization, budget and pro forma forecast preparation and analysis, and financial reporting, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar.
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
• Must be willing and able to wear multiple hats, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
• E-mail marketing, public relations, social media, and database management experience preferred.
