Job Title: Marketing Communications Manager
Location: Mission, KS
Job Summary: The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing communication plans to support the company's business objectives. This role requires exceptional writing and proofreading skills, a strong understanding of the pharmacy and healthcare industry, and experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with our target audience.
Reporting Relationship: Vice President, Marketing
Work Schedule: Generally, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. This role is on a hybrid work schedule; mix of remote and in office. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Remote Work Requirements:

  • Must have a distraction free home office workspace
  • Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Develop and write clear, persuasive, and engaging content for various marketing channels, including websites, newsletters, brochures, press releases, and social media.
    • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather information and create content that aligns with business goals.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies to promote products, services, and initiatives.
    • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
    • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Assist in managing the company’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and drive engagement.
    • Utilize Salesforce to manage marketing campaigns, track leads, and analyze customer data.
  • Public Relations:
    • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
    • Execute PR strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership:
    • Work closely with the marketing team, sales team, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
    • Coordinate and manage external vendors and agencies as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the pharmacy or healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Account Enablement platform.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Experience with graphic design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Working Conditions: This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
