Your Role at Cabot:

Take the reins in driving the regional marketing strategy within Cabot Corporation's Carbon and Silica Technologies business unit (CST). We're seeking a dynamic leader to execute product marketing activities and coordinate marketing analytics initiatives that will support key CST Americas applications including Specialty Compounds. As a Regional Marketing Manager, you'll provide strategic direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute plans to enhance market presence and drive business growth.

The Regional Marketing Manager will join the team at the Cabot research and development hub in Billerica, MA, and is eligible to participate in Cabots Flexible Working Arrangement (hybrid) program.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the regional marketing strategy, including target account approaches and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define regional pricing and product positioning strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Forecast regional sales in line with business strategy and market assessment, identifying new opportunities and managing the opportunity development pipeline.
  • Identify and capitalize on regional marketing communications opportunities, partnering with the global Marketing Communications team to define product positioning, develop sales tools, coordinate training, and own the communication strategy.
  • Consolidate and report marketing and competitive intelligence, providing insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Responsible Care Management System, adhering to RC14001 technical specifications.

What You Will Bring to Cabot:

  • Bachelors/University degree in Business/Marketing/Chemistry/Engineering; MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in marketing, including marketing plan & strategy generation, market and data analytics, and creation of marketing tools.
  • Commercial acumen in developing pricing and negotiation strategies, leveraging market dynamics to drive strategic decisions. Prior sales experience considered advantageous.
  • Experience within chemical process industry (plastics and/or CASE industries) preferred.
  • Ability to internalize Cabots technical benefits and utilize to build and sustain market project plans.
  • Proficient in data analysis and synthesis, utilizing available tools and financial systems to inform decision-making and develop actionable plans.
  • A strong relationship builder skilled in driving multifunctional execution plans and collaborating effectively across teams to influence outcomes.
  • Ability to foster connections within Cabot and with key industry players.
