THE JOB:

The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International. As a Marketing Executive in our player marketing department, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by increasing our guest's brand loyalty on all of our products and services. By understanding our guest's unique stories, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

  • Passionately maintain and establish relationships with current and potential guests to promote and sustain a high level of player recognition and service.
  • Engage with our guests promoting MGM Grand Detroit and our other properties in order to build customer loyalty and increase frequency of their visits.
  • Determine and evaluate our guest's play to provide corresponding incentives and authorization to approve limited amounts of comps and allowances.
  • Maintain highly confidential casino guest information by enforcing the privacy of all guests and limiting the request of their information.
  • Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals.
  • Responds to and addresses all guest requests, questions, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Own the guest experience in any situation by using problem solving skills to WOW the guest.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Two years previous experience as a Casino Host
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Has a high energy, positive attitude, and likes to have fun while doing their best work
  • Has a high proficiency using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project
  • Is a team player
  • Is welcoming and engaging
  • Is self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Can handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Displays excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills
