Marketing Project Coordinator VISTA
Metropolitan Ministries (MM) serves 100,000 families and individuals annually with food, clothing, emergency shelter, affordable housing, childcare, a partnership elementary school, adult education and employment services, health and wellness services, counseling, case management and access to community resources. Our VISTA Project, Tampa Bay Homeless Outreach, aims to generate resources that enhance and expand housing programs and supportive services for people experiencing poverty and homelessness. The marketing department uses social media and local news to connect the Tampa Bay community with services, events, and volunteer opportunities. This role will enhance these efforts by tracking internal requests, creating marketing collateral, developing SOPs, supporting social media and content creation, and preparing award submissions.
Member Duties : • Help keep track of internal Marketing requests • Assist in creating internal Marketing collateral via graphic design, copy writing, presentations, etc • Work with each team member in the Marketing department to create SOPs for each position • Ability to support in some capacity in the following areas: social media, photography, videography, writing • Meet with marketing team to identify competitions • Identify campaigns for submissions • Write submission material and work with team on designing the submission material
