Purpose Statement
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Archer, NGS for IDT's global marketing organization, is responsible for leading cross functional efforts between product management, R&D, marketing, and sales to address customer needs for the Archer product portfolio within the clinical research market segment and using that knowledge and experience to develop and execute marketing and product launch campaigns that drive IDT awareness and revenue.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Apply and continually develop an expert level understanding of customer needs within the Clinical research market segment, through direct customer contact and primary and secondary research, and convert customer and market insight into core marketing briefs and strategic marketing plans that drive successful lead generation and product launch campaigns.
Lead the collaboration with IDT Product Marketing/Management, Product Development, and Project Management - as well as with Global Sales and Regional Marketing - to develop accurate marketing personas, effective customer segmentation strategies, insightful buyer journeys, and useful value propositions and key messages specific to the clinical research market segment.
Plan, craft and execute impactful marketing campaigns, collateral and content. Collaborate with and orchestrate content writers, branding and public relations, collateral design, and search engine optimization experts to ensure that campaign tactics match market segment needs.
Work with third parties to drive product awareness and positioning. Partner with digital marketing, marketing automation, and web development experts to ensure that marketing campaigns are executed well and in a timely fashion.
Own and be accountable for the success of marketing campaigns by using advanced digital tagging and metrics to ensure that key performance indicators are met, and campaigns demonstrate a positive return on investment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in life science (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant field
At least 7 years of experience in a combination of life sciences marketing and/or laboratory experience on oncology translational and clinical research
Demonstrated domain expertise in the application of NGS molecular biology workflows as they relate to Oncology translational and clinical research
Extensive experience with defining marketing strategy, creating marketing plans, creating marketing content and executing marketing campaigns
Intimate understanding of business drivers in clinical oncology research space such as reimbursements, supply chain security, cost per sample, etc.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in business or life sciences
Marketing regulated IVD products
Working directly with IDT's xGen or Archer NGS products
Life Science product management or sales roles
