Expeditor

We are currently hiring Expeditors for an aerospace manufacturing company in Chihuahua, Mexico. These roles have an expected duration of 6 months with possibility of extension.
Expeditors are responsible for maintaining the supply of raw materials and parts in tandem with the production schedule.
Expeditor job duties:

• Ensure Supplier manufacturing schedule maintains the required pace to meet the client production requirement.
• Expeditors to be on-site to ensure the supplier is focused on the delivery of the required part numbers occurs:
  • On time,
  • To production schedule, and,
  • The contracted quality and technical requirements.
• Establish key milestones and identify potential opportunities, risks and issues.
• Track production deadlines.
• Participates in Daily meetings with Supplier cross-functional team to consist of Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain management to determine part delivery status.
• Ensure deliveries of Client procured raw materials are specifically allocated for Client part numbers.
• Ensure deliveries of raw materials, assemblies, and release of the final product is in accordance to lead time and Purchase Order delivery requirements.

• 3+ years 'Expeditor or Scheduler Experience
• Must be proficient in Spanish
• Production Scheduling and trouble shooting
• Experience using:
  • Spreadsheets
  • Ordering tools
  • Status reports, both reading and creating
