In partnership with their supervisor, the Marketing Director, and peers for Food+ by Compass, clients, and other vendor partner peers, this individual develops and supports marketing initiatives and plans that help achieve the Food program marketing/communications strategy. Key areas of focus include educating guests on Food program intentionality, inspiring program participation, building brand ambassadors, and managing community sentiment as well as developing pride in the Food+ culture and enabling team members to perform their key responsibilities through accessible and clear communication. This position supports work streams such as nutrition and behavioral science, sustainability, risk management, culinary, people operations, DEI and digital innovation and may regularly lead and project manage marketing and communications projects.This position implements marketing and communications workstreams including campaigns, storytelling, strategic communications, events and experiential marketing in a portion of the Bay Area business. To do this, the Marketing Manager builds and maintains relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and partners across that portion of the Bay Area business, leveraging strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset to create alignment and ensure effective collaboration. This role takes a full funnel and data-driven approach to marketing, moving target audiences from a state of awareness to a state of advocacy and measuring quantifiable and qualitative results along the way to inform future decisions.The great things you can expect to do:Integrated marketing & communication for the Food+ by Compass program: Create and deploy integrated marketing and communications initiatives to achieve Food program goals (both from the marketing team and in support of initiatives driven by other departments) with a focus on communicating program intentionality, building trust and collaboration and increasing brand awareness. Manage internal communications channels such as websites and apps, email/newsletters, social media, signage, search and postings, and events (digital and in-person) and steward the program tegrated marketing & communications for Food+ by Compass: Create and deploy integrated marketing and communications initiatives to achieve Food program goals (both from the marketing team and in support of initiatives driven by other departments) which may involve supporting multiple subsidiary companies of Compass. Manage internal communications channels such as websites, email/newsletters, social media, signage and events (digital and in-person) and brand oversight. Perform ongoing training and skill building opportunities for vendor team members in branding, marketing, communication and conversation management where applicable. Key audiences include senior leaders, salaried leaders and hourly team members;Stakeholder collaboration: Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders ranging from C-suite leaders to local operations management who work for multiple companies and teams in this ecosystem including Food+ by Compass, Compass sector leadership, - Food and REWS, and other vendor partner companies. Regularly partner with stakeholders to co-create strategy and troubleshoot to overcome shared obstacles. Support proactive communication on behalf of the team to keep stakeholders informed of key progress and priorities and to identify opportunities for further novation & insights: Regularly analyze data and use insights to inform future strategy and implementation. Consistently use data to inform all actions and points of view. Investigate current trends and future forecasts in integrated marketing, brand marketing, experiential marketing, strategic communications and digital communications which may contribute to the continual improvement of the Food+ by Compass program marketing and communications and crisis communication management: Support the response to a variety of incidents (health and safety, workplace safety, brand risk, and other) in alignment with global communications protocol and develop communications as part of an incident response team to ensure responses to potentially high-risk user inquiries/feedback and communications during and after incidents are coordinated, transparent, aligned, timely and appropriate.
